BASF has reached an agreement to divest its manufacturing site in Quincy, FL and the associated attapulgite business for a purchase price of $60 million to Clariant. The Quincy mining facility em-ploys approximately 75 employees and manufactures clay-based mineral products used in a variety of industrial applications.
